The Hornet's Nest is Emmaus High School's store that sells affordable and stylish spirit-wear for students, faculty and staff, parents and community members. It is centrally located in room 519 above the main office.

The store has two curriculum-based classes that focus on Retailing, Customer Service, Marketing, Inventory, Management, and Finance. Students find this as a great opportunity to learn a real-life business while at school that also can serve as experience and a reference for a job or college resume.

Students learn how to work with others as a team, problem solve, integrate ideas, and design clothing. The curriculum includes trips to local university campus stores to learn about their techniques, meeting with suppliers, and photo shoots for fashion marketing.

The retail business supports the Business Department Scholarship for the Excellence in Computer and Business Award to one deserving senior at the end of each school year.
